Neon is in the air this Spring! I was feeling adventurous yesterday and went for this bold look, color blocking blue and coral which is a popular combo this season. I cuffed up my jeans which gave me this fun and different look I really like, adding the red sunglasses and neon jewelry adds boldness to this outfit and I really like it, what do you guys wear when feeling adventurous?

El neon está en el aire esta primavera! Me sentí adventurera ayer y fui con un look muy audaz, bloquiando los colores azul y coral que es una combinación muy popular esta temporada. Subi el ruedo de los jeans para un look divertido y diferente, añadiendo las gafas rojas y joyas de neón me da la audacia que buscaba, ¿qué se ponen ustedes cuando se sienten adventureros?

{An Afternoon at Bryant Park}

One of my favorite places when the weather is nice in NYC is Bryant Park. Its such a beautiful park with a lot to do during the warmer weather months, so me and the husband went into the city to relax at the Southwest Porch yesterday afternoon. This beautiful porch goes up as soon as Spring hits and right after they clear The Citi Pond, which is the ice rink in the winter time. The porch is beautifully decorated and offers a small menu from Wichcraft which is "Top Chef" Tom Colicchio's restaurant, and of course there is also a full bar. Its the perfect place to have a drink, sit on a swing or a lounge chair and relax. I had an iced tea and P had a beer, it was a lovely afternoon. I wore my skinny Levis and paired them with this H&M button down which is a very casual look, I added the vest for a trendier look and adding the color accessories puts me right on Spring Trend!

Uno de mis lugares favoritos cuando el clima es agradable en la ciudad de Nueva York es Bryant Park. El parque es super lindo con mucho que hacer durante los meses calientes. Ayer en la tarde mi esposo y yo nos fuimos al Southwest Porch a relajarnos, el porch es bien agradable y lo abren justo cuando llega la primavera y despues que cierran el patinaje en hielo. Esta muy bien decorado y ofrece un pequeño menú de Wichcraft que es el restsurante de "Top Chef" Tom Colicchio, y por supuesto también ofrecen una barra. Es el lugar perfecto para tomarse una copa sentarse en un columpio o en una silla y relajarse. Yo me tome un iced tea y P se tomo una cerveza, fue una tarde encantadora. Me puse mis skinny Levis con esta blusa de H & M que es un look muy casual, he añadido el chaleco para un look más a la moda y con los accesorios de color estoy en tendencia de primavera!

It seems like the warm weather here in NY is staying, thank god! I'm in love with the flowers blooming, birds chirping, pastels and neons as I've mentioned before, I just cant get enough of them! I also love stripes and I'm seeing a lot of color stripes for this season, so today I decided to wear this old shirt I've had for several seasons. Its from Express and its one of my favorites, I paired it with a flower print another hot trend this season (mixing prints). It seems like anything goes for Spring, neons, pastels, mixing prints, color blocking, etc. If you feel like wearing it, do it and just pick a hot trend and accessorize, its what I did here and I kind of like it! What do you think?

Parece que el buen tiempo aquí en Nueva York es para quedarse, gracias a Dios! Estoy enamorada de las flores, los pájaros cantando, los colores pasteles y los neones como he mencionado antes, simplemente no puedo tener suficiente de ellos! También me encantan las rayas, y estoy viendo un montón de rayas de colores para esta temporada, así que hoy decidí ponerme esta camisa que he tenido desde hace varias temporadas. Es de Express y es una de mis favoritas, la junte con un estampado de flores, otra tendencia de moda en esta temporada (mezcla de prints). Parece que todo vale para la primavera, neones, los colores pasteles, las mezclas de prints, el bloqueo de color, etc. Si te lo quieres poner, pues pontelo solo debes elegir una tendencia y acesorizar con ella, eso fue lo que hice hoy, y me gusto! ¿Qué piensas tu?Undo edits

Its an American tradition to celebrate St. Patrick's Day here in America, and as good Americans my friends and I had brunch together to celebrate! If you didn't know my husband is Irish, therefore more reason to celebrate! Of course green is the color to wear on such day, and since green is so in trend at the moment, it was fun to put an outfit together. I opted for some color blocking which is so in trend this season, and I added neon accessories, another big trend. You will be needing color jeans for the next few months, they are perfect for any occasion and with the color blocking trend you can mix and match any colors, its the easiest trend to follow. Add neon accessories like I did to take it up a notch. How did you guys celebrate? Did you wear green?

Es una tradición americana celebrar el Día de San Patricio en los Estados Unidos, y como buenos americanos unas amistades y yo nos fuimos a celebrar! Si no sabian mi esposo es irlandés, por lo tanto, hay más que celebrar! Por supuesto, el verde es el color perfecto para usar ese dia, y dado que el verde esta de tendencia al momento, fue super facil y divertido poner este outfit junto. Yo he optado por usar lo que le llaman bloqueo de colores que esta de tendencia esta temporada, y he añadido los accesorios de neón, otra gran tendencia. Van a necesitar jeans o mahones de colores para los próximos meses, son perfectos para cualquier ocasión y con la tendencia "bloqueo de color" puede mezclar y combinar los colores a su gusto y es super facil para mantenerse a la moda esta temporada. Añade accesorios de neón como lo hice yo para traer otra tendencia al look. Y ustedes como celebraron? Se pusieron verde?

{St. Patrick Told Me To Wear It,}

Its that time of year again, March 17th, St. Paddys Day! Where all of us are Irish for one whole day, and maybe all of us should not me Irish for one whole day. Just kidding, Lets all celebrate by wearing green!! Actually, green is so in this season that you will be in trend, you have pastel green and neon green + color blocking! You wont go wrong, color block like I did here by mixing odd colors together. This outfit is perfect if you are going to celebrate at an Irish Bar or to a friends party, always add a cool blazer if you want to be dress up an outfit or cover up. I will be celebrating St. Paddys by attending the New York Parade, will be posting my outfit of the day!

Another week begins, and more blog posts to come! Me and the husband went to lunch today in Long Island City which is right next to our town in Queens. It is right next to Manhattan and the home to the Queensboro Bridge. I think bridges have beautiful architecture, my favorite is the Brooklyn Bridge, it is so romantic and its where me and my husband got married so it holds a special part in my heart. I will have to do a shoot on it someday soon, for now Queensboro it is! Its a beautiful area and it was a warm beautiful day, so I felt like dressing as if it were Spring. I'm actually wearing a dress with a top over it, a fun and easy way to disguise that dress that you love but wear all the time. I wore nude heels which go with everything. Since there was a lot of print going on, I decided to keep it minimal with jewelry. I hope everyone has a great week!
